Global Church Institute

The CoChairs of the Billion Soul Network are committed to bring the best resources from the Global Church to the rest of the Global Church.  The Global Church Learning Center comprises the Global Classroom, the Global Church Library and the Global Church Institute.

The Global Church Institute affords any local church the opportunity to enroll young men/women who are called into full-time ministry into the Global Church Learning Center. The overarching purpose of the GCI is not to credential ministers but to develop a new generation of ministers of the Gospel through the Biblical principles of discipleship, mentorship, and practical experience.

The success of a man / woman of God is determined by three levels:

1. What he / she is

A man without depth of character, integrity, and honor is not much more than rocky soil capable of growth when everything is just right, yet destined to catastrophic failure when the storms of life and spiritual warfare assault his shallow foundation.

2. What he / she knows

A man’s knowledge is like a craftsman’s toolbox with many drawers replete with the exact implement for every task.

3. What he / she has done

A man who has only read books will never build a house. A man who has never built a house will hardly attempt to build a tower. Thus, a man's experiences become the foundation for each successful effort.

An additional aspect of today's higher education is the corresponding increase of cost to the student leading to a tragic trend. Young men and women now often graduate from college student loans equivalent to house payments. These individuals often find it impossible to pursue their callings as they must find significant salaries to offset their loans. Entry level ministry opportunities typically do not offer sufficient salaries for these young couples to survive while trying to service their school indebtedness.

The Global Church Institute provides the opportunity of young ministers to obtain the training needed without going into extreme financial debt to do so.
